Artist Pieter-Jan Martyn is more than a fine art painter
Working on his ninth solo exhibition, painter Pieter jan Martyn is searching for a way to dig deeper in himself. His earlier work was rooted in dark and violent topics as the Gang of Nijvel, autopsy, the JFK-murder and the Rote Armee Fraction. If he could free himself from all those stories and start from his unconsciousness, what would he paint? He hopes to find an answer in hypnosis. This proces of hypnosis, commented by the artist himself was filmed.
A mini documentary about this proces by Hannes Bruyneel.
