Isa D’hondt is an artist known for her multidisciplinary approach, blending painting, drawing, and installation art. Her work often explores architecture, space and form. In her 2-dimensional work the use of delicate lines create visually compelling pieces that evoke both fragility and strength. She frequently uses different materials, such as paper, cardboard, iron or plaster to challenge the perceptions of space and form. In 2022 Isa won “De Gaverprijs”, a prestigious biennial competition for contemporary painting in Belgium, organised by cultural organisations in Waregem.
