Bernice x KLAP

In June, Bernice was invited to speak at KLAP, an all female network based in Dendermonde. During this inspiring gathering, I had the opportunity to share the joys and challenges of running an art rental.

For 15 years now, I have been passionately committed to making art accessible to a wide audience. That journey hasn’t always been straightforward. As an entrepreneur, I’ve faced challenges such as changing market conditions, finding new target groups and constantly refreshing our collection.

At the same time, this journey has brought with it so many wonderful moments. It is always special to see how art touches and inspires people, and how it finds a place in their daily lives. The encounters with artists, customers and art lovers have been the driving force behind Bernice for years.

During my talk, I shared both the highlights and the lessons I’ve learnt along the way by showing 5 pieces that meant something special for the business of for me personally. It was lovely to discuss these with a group of enterprising women who support, inspire and empower one another.
