The artist about his work: “It is not necessary to seek the true origin of the story, the viewer can decide about the content. But I have a weakness for historical images and the rather dark, heavy side of life; the shadow is more interesting than the full light. For me, the image cannot stand on its own, there are always several ways of interpretation for the viewer. The interpretation plus the image equals a layered painting with a different context, stress or meaning.
