Heidi Nuyts

The graphic background of Heidi mixes with her love for acrylic. As a child, she enjoyed playing in the woods. Fascinated by the beauty of nature, she could wander for hours and create her own world in which she always played the leading role. The creation is still happening, only now they are created on canvas. Colorful woods appear through layers of paint on top of each other. The figures are increasingly disappearing into the background and they are less present in the scene. Abstraction and color become more important than figure and elaboration. Heidi’s playful artworks are like a visual party where everyone can share their own story.
