Coen Vernooij creates abstract sculptures made from thin, anthracite metal bars. His constructions are timeless with a unique character. They are three-dimensional drawings that become one with the space with shadow effect as the connecting factor. The bars define a space, the void gets filled by the viewer himself. To understand the artworks, it is best to look at it from all angles, because the image changes unpredictably with every step.
